Room available in flatshare, Denmark Hill/East Dulwich

Hello there! We are Lewis and Connie, two housemates in their late-twenties who enjoy gigs, climbing, cooking and film nights. We have an unfurnished room available in our lovely southeast London flat for the right applicant. If you're looking for a relaxed and sociable living space, keep on reading. (Only looking for one person, no couples- sorry!)

The flat is on the second floor of a 1930s block close to Ruskin park, with strong access links to Peckham, Camberwell and East Dulwich. The room is a good size, and we are lucky enough to have a beautiful living room where we can work, socialise and eat communally. We also have a key to a private residents garden a couple of minutes' walk away.

Transport links: we are within walking distance of East Dulwich and Denmark Hill stations. Late night? We also have 24-hour bus connections right on the doorstep.
We're less than 10 minutes walk from the big Sainsbury's, which is good news if you like eating and being alive.

About us:
We're both London natives and super keen to hang out as a flat, but we're also pretty independent and out of the flat good deal of the time. We both work 9-5s, a hybrid between home and office work. Connie does improv (in front a willing audience, not at home), is in a band, and enjoys reading and getting unhealthily emotionally invested in TV shows about sad horses. Lewis likes playing jazz, moaning about politics and not being judged for how much cheese he grates on things.

We are looking for someone fun and sociable around our age (ideally with some shared interests) who can furnish the room, and doesn't mind the odd party or drinks at the flat. Queer friendly, no tories.

Room available from 13th September, £815 (+~£93 bills) plus deposit, unfurnished. We'll be transferring you onto the contract with the landlord via Foxtons estate agents.
